Firstly, congratulations on your retirement! The RACGP offers free membership for retired members, that are no longer maintaining their Ahpra registration. You can continue accessing your RACGP member benefits in the free retired membership category, such as AJGP and other publications, as well as ongoing access to RACGP Plus with over 100 discounted - a full list of member benefits can be viewed on the RACGP website by clicking this link

Please note, if you are still maintaining an Ahpra registration, you may still be required to have a CPD Home - the Retired membership category does not include access to the RACGP Program or RACGP CPD Home. You can speak to the RACGP CPD Team to confirm if you have any requirements by contacting them on 1800 716 853 or cpd.national@racgp.org.au

If you join the RACGP partway through the year, the RACGP offers pro-rata joining fees.  Our Member Services team will provide you with a fee amount depending on the membership category you will be joining in. Contact our Member Services team on 1800 072 247 or at membership@racgp.org.au for more information.

Whilst you do not need to have membership to apply for a GPE or a training position, there are a number of membership categories that are available to you, with benefits that can support you in your transition to becoming a General Practitioner.  Have a look at RACGP - Join the RACGP today for more information on becoming a member.  Once you are accepted on to a RACGP training pathway, you will be required to become a Registrar member of the RACGP.

No, all updates will be done for you, and you will be informed of the changes happening to your membership

We are currently looking at making past RACGP invoices and receipts available to our members to download – but for now, please contact our Member Services team on 1800 072 247 or at membership@racgp.org.au for a copy of your invoice or receipt.
